I own an S550 GT premium with performance pkg. Purchased brand new, well maintained and as boring as it sounds, its never been raced etc. Absolutely hate the car. Ford ruined my nearly 50 yrs of being a car enthusiast. Ive given up, just going to get a boring Frontier. Ford can suck it

127000 miles on a corvette with that gear ratio is nothing,,,,compute the rpms at 60mph and equate that to a 3 speed auto trans car. You will find the wear on the engine is not much at all,,,,id give it 300000 miles to equate a regular car at 175000. Total rpms and piston/main bearing/rod wear is what wears out engines. That thing will last you waaay longer than you image,,,ive had a 1974 and 1996 and last week bought a 2014

bought clean land Cruiser 100 series today, black with grey interior 2006 159k miles love it love it love it, Now I just gotta trust it... Lots of things were done before I bought it around 8k in things including timing belt and water pump and catalytic converters and more... I just wanna trust it... Get better tires lower the pressure and you need the speed to bump over everything all the time But momentum is definitely your friend in 2 wheel drive

2008 Toyota Prius owner here in Pasadena (formerly of Santa Monica) with 194K on the clock. Original battery. Got the "Red Triangle of Death" a few weeks ago and worked with Prius Kings for a reconditioned battery (3 year warranty) for $1675 including install. First battery was worse than my old one they took out. The second one they put in is still showing some signs of weakness: Big swings from full to empty. Replaced the 12 volt per their recommendation. Still only so-so despite them saying the batteries are in the 7.7 range which qualifies as sufficient power (for them). I'm keeping the warranty handy. I'm not convinced, especially since they had to take it back to the "shop" and needed to drive it around. Later I found evidence of a bar stop in El Cajon a day later. Did PK drive my car to San Diego??

My friend bought a 2000 lc with 379k miles. For $6k. The abs, vtrax light are on and the previous owner owned a body shop and painted it two years ago. Texas and Arkansas owned car. Average condition, roof rack, moon roof is broken, carpet is toast, seats ok. Thoughts?

Nice review. I have a 2012 c6 grand sport and test drove a c7 as well before i bought the c6. Totally get that neither is a good daily. But I was buying a weekend sports car to take out with the lady and friends. The corvette felt special and that's why i chose it over other sports and muscle cars I test drove. My cadillac is a great daily, and corvette a great special occasion and weekend car. Still hurts getting in and out though. 😂
